I chose this picture because I love the vibrant colours and the patterning on the petals. I also like that you can see the tiny drops of water from the morning dew and the pollen that has been knocked off the stamen. Nature is amazing.

I love tulips. I think the red ones are my favorite.
Red is my favourite colour. What I love about these is, sometimes when you photograph red things they show up more red or orange. Especially fabrics. But with these that never happens. They are just so brightly red.
